Background
Ivan Snell – started his career as a management consultant with LogicaCMG, one of the UK’s leading global systems integration, software development and consultancy organisations. At LogicaCMG he successfully delivered over twenty consultancy assignments predominately in Western Europe but also central Europe and the Far East. He left Logica (UK) Ltd in January 2000 seeking the fresh challenges and variety that self-employment offers.
Since then the large organisations he has worked for include C&W plc, BP, BT Wholesale, Transco (Lattice plc) and Transport for London (TfL). He authored and published the Snell UK Telco Innovation Report 2004, the first report of its kind on the Management of Innovation in the UK Telecoms Industry, which is available from ivansnell.com.
Ivan graduated with honours in Business Studies, has a Masters of Science (with Distinction) in Technology and Innovation Management and was awarded, and then declined, a place on MBA programme at the London Business School.
Ivan lives between London and Hayling Island from where he manages his sailing career which has included professional skipper work in the Caribbean, the Adriatic and waters closer to home in the English Channel and the Solent.
